May....(edited to answers questions)

I cannot believe another month is almost over. We have been so busy with just everything...garden is growing, lots of work there taking care of it to help it produce the best it can. I love it though, so not complaining...just seems time is rushing by. I have been stitching when I can grab free time. I try to spend some time on the deck daily with my stitching and all the sounds and sites of nature...my very favorite times of each day. We have been spending a lot of time entertaining family and friends...another one of my loves. I am sorry if I am behind on email (please remember I changed my email address, as one of my friends let me know someone was trying to contact me using my old acct.-I have removed that acct.) but I have just not been online at all-I haven't read a blog in months.... BUT, I think of you daily my friends :)

We have been very busy in April...the weather has been crazy as we all know-but we had some really nice weather and was able to get our garden planted...twice the size we normally plant so I am hoping to be very busy in a few months with canning and preserving. Not a lot of time for finishing but I have had the opportunity to stitch most every evening in April and these are my efforts/ Lots of FUN stitches.








Stitched and framed this in a frame that Donna gifted me with.



Hubby was kind enough to cut these out for me-need to stain or paint to have ready to use for finishing. Nice!!!!

I have been truly humbled by your kind emails. I have received so many email in regards to how some of you miss my frequent updates as well as how you miss being able to comment on my blog posts. I will turn comments back on but they will remain moderated and unpublished, but I will receive them via email on my iphone or ipad and if you require a reply I will gladly do so IF there is a way to contact you. I do so appreciate all your kind visits and sweet words. I'll try to update more often...but no promises :)

Here are some finishes since my last update. I hope you enjoy them.
I stitched this cute freebie and finished it as a candle wrap. Makes me smile :) :) :) and as you can see from the candle behind it...i like to wrap my candles.



Another freebie. I finished it as a pillow (yes, I adore pillow finishes as I have room to display them in the many wooden bowls, boxes and baskets I have throughout my home. I love seeing a bowl full of stitched goodness :)
I used a cute sunflower print for this one with some black checks and a red background to match my color choices in the stitched designs. And of course...the buttons and gingham ribbon (my favorites).



I stitched this for Linda O's (UK) birthday on March 27. I really like it and may stitch it again for myself.



Still punching :) Isn't this one great? My daughter has laid claim to it :)




And this is what I am punching now...between other crafty things :)LOVING it :)
