to thank Carol, Isabelle, Myrna, CathyB, Cindy, Tessa, Joanie, Anne, Sally and Bernadette for your cards......I appreciate them and they are placed on my card holders all around my home. They brightened my week...it's been a bad week-I have been and still am sick with the flu-it's knocked me on my backside. I feel SO bad :( The doctor said it may be another week before I am completely over it. I have been trying to avoid passing it along to my daughter.
I want to offer up a prayer for a friend that is losing his battle and will not be with us much longer. He is to be taken off life support today and I wish peace, strength, courage and faith to his wife and daughter. You are all in our family's thoughts and prayers. He will be missed. May God be with you.
This will be my last blog entry as I am not going to continue blogging in 2007...due to a few circumstances. I would like to thank those of you that have read my blog and have left comments for me-I appreciate them so much and I enjoyed your visits.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Per requests...
I have had many request to share my home decorated for the Christmas, so I thought between cleaning (I host my couples dinner party tomorrow evening) and waiting for my floors to dry, I would share the pics I have taken so far. I haven't taken pics of everything....I don't have a pic of the kitchen, nor my bed with my snowman quilt that my mom made for me. I will share a few here in the blog, and give you a link to see others. Thanks for asking me and I apologize for taking so long.
I actually didn't do as much decorating this year :)!
This is my den. We have stockings for all the animals (Toby, Rambler, Tucker, Bizzy, Tony Stewart, Meagan, Tonka, Cici, and Poncho)-and they each have gifts in them. Of course there are stockings for us too :) The tree is my snowman tree.

The dogs and cats all have picture frames with their pics in them hanging from their stockings...shown here is Tucker :)

This tall nutcracker seen here is a hostess gift I received last week from my Ladies Dinner. I love it-It's one of my most favorite nutcrackers.

This soldier is another hostess gift from last week. I love it!

This is the tree in my family room. It rotates (that's why Santa is facing the wrong way on top...it was rotating when I took the pic. This tree is very special to me as it has ONLY handmade ornaments on it. It is my favorite tree. Please overlook the vaccume cord :)

This is my dining room and it has another VERY special tree...my angel tree. EVERY angel that graces it (with the exception of the topper) was made by my mother. VERY special!

This tree is new...it is my nutcracker tree and I just started it this year...next year it will go beside the fireplace with my nutcracker collection. It was started too late and I had already put my snowman tree by the fireplace so this one had to be placed in my stitching room. Hopefully by next Christmas I will have MANY more nutcrackers to add to it (Rick bought every nutcracker ornament Wal-mart had...LOL)

This is part of my Christmas gift. I want all the mirrors in the bathrooms changed out. We purchased the mirrors and this one was changed out earlier this month for me-but hubby has been working and hasn't gotten to the others yet.

I hope you enjoy a look inside my home. To see more click the link I shared.

Thank you Tessa and Maddi :)
Today I received a package in my mailbox from Australia...I didn't have a clue as to what it could be as I was not expecting anything nor was I in an exchange. To my surprise, Tessa and her sweet daughter Maddi sent me a BeeBear of my very own, complete with Birth Certificate from The Teddy Bear Shop. Please meet "Beetrice". Thank you so much, Maddi and Tessa you are just so sweet to think of me when you saw this little BeeBear. Tessa writes that Maddi saw it in the shop and said "we need to buy this for BeckyBee"...you made my day, Maddi :) Thank you! Hugs and love to you and your mom. Beetrice will grace my tree for the Holiday and then she will find a very special place among my cherished collection of bees. She will have a couple of other BeeBears friends there as I have some BeeBears from the BOYD collection that some of my dear friends have sent to me-she will fit right in and BEE cherished always!

Christmas Snow...
No, it's not snowing in SC, nor do I expect it to be anytime soon-if at all this year. We are expected to hit 70 degrees by Saturday! But it is the title of my latest finish. Some of you know I have been very down/worried over some health issues with my daughter and my FIL. So much so it has interrupted my stitching and I haven't stitched in over a month (I was fortunate to have all my exchanges stitched and ready to go well before deadlines)until Sunday. Why Sunday?? Well, my LNS had Open House for the Holidays and I decided to go after Church and I am so glad I did. I had the nicest time. I invited my mom to go along, and she found a couple of pieces that she would like for me to stitch and I found several charts that I like and can't wait to start. There was punch and cookies and Christmas music and a crowd. I am so glad I decided to go. It helped me so much as far as the urge to stitch. We received a discount (whatever percentage we drew from a bucket)on our entire purchase as well as a free gift. I also picked up an order for Christmas Snow and everything to stitch it and the wonderful frame for it. I finished the stitching this morning and framed it this afternoon. It is TOO cute and I am looking forward to having it out for the Holiday.

This is the free gift everyone received. A Freebie from Lilybet Designs and everything to stitch it. I stitched mine when I got home Sunday evening.

I am anxious to pull out something else to work on this evening. I have 2 other snowmen charts that I picked up on Sunday. I may start one of those.
Thank you all for your e-mail and your posts. I appreciate them so very much. I am trying to stay VERY optimistic about my DD and FIL. Hopefully we will have answers very soon.
hugs,
BeckySC

An exchange and a gift...
Thank you so much, Marie-I feel very spoiled by your Winter Blast Exchange. I appreciate the time/thought/TALENT and generosity that you put into this exchange.
It couldn't have come at a better time. THANK YOU!
Isn't this just gorgeous???? WOW!

Also in today's mail was this BEAUTIFUL fob from Carol. It is just beautifully stitched and finished. I love it! Dear friend, thank you so much. Much love to you.

Thanks for your comments on my exchange for Julianne and the exchanges I received.
Also, thank you for your concerns for my daughter and my FIL. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers and good wishes.
I DO have some good news to share...the babies (3) that were taken from their parents last year have been returned home as it was proven in court that the injury sustained by the baby was NOT received at home. OHHH, they missed their mommy SOOO much for over a year, but she was always steadfast and with supervised visits she saw them EACH and EVERY day that they were separated.

Winter Blast Exchange for Julianne and more....
Julianne received the Winter Blast exchange that I stitched for her today. I was thrilled to have her name for this exchange on the USEBB. I made a needlebook and a scissor pocket to match. I sent some extra's but did not take a pic.

For the Thanksgiving exchange at the USEBB, I was fortunate to receive from Nancy a GORGEOUS pinkeep to add to my collection. Thank you so much, Nancy-I love it :)

I received a BEAUTIFUL pinkeep from Juanita this week for the specific finish exchange on the USEBB :) I love it, Juanita. It has found a place among my other cherished pinkeeps. Thank you so very much :)

I have two more exchange to receive and one to send...then sadly, I will have to sit out for awhile as we have two health issues in our family and I am afraid to commit to exchanges and not have the time to stitch or prepare nice packages. I will MISS the exchanges so much.
Happy Holidays to you all,
BeckySC
