Thank you all and Good Eggs :)

First I must say thank you all so much for the ever so kind comments on Pyn Purse Cushion :) I appreciate them so very much.
The finishing instructions are included in this design :)

I have been doing finishing for the past two days on exchanges....which means I can't share those just yet-will have to wait until the exchange deadlines are here and the exchanges reach their destinations :)

I do have two things to share though....I did the finishing on Good Eggs and will get it in the mail to Dianne sometime this week-if you remember I held a drawing to win this piece and I would finish it off into something to send to the winner. I chose to finish it onto a wooden box, that I have stained a nice wood tone :) I have included some "Springy" colored flosses in the box, however Dianne can use the box for whatever purpose suits her :) I love it and I hope Dianne will too!

I also received this BEEutiful cross stitched card from Redwitch today :) Thank you so much....you are a sweetie :) ((hugs))

Until next time...hugs to you all :) Thank you for stopping by :)

Pyn Purse Cushion

I had the most fun stitching and doing the finishing on this one! What a treat :)
Most all of the stitching in over one. The back has a pocket on it that holds a needle threader (you can see the tip of it sticking out of the pocket). I love the way this one turned out! It is just too adorable!

Thank you all for your comments on my ornament...Eva, there is another picture on my website that shows the tassel better.

Thanks again for your kind words to my mom and me. She is still so sad and you just hear it in her voice and see it in her eyes....I wish I could take that away. I have shared your kind comments with her and I SO appreciate you taking time to leave them.

Whitman's Vintage Red Tin Sewing Set

I enjoyed stitching and finishing this one so much. I had a mishap with the fabric on the scissor sheath and had to improvise-that's why I had to whip around the top of the sheath.. When I purchase some more 32ct. Ant. Ivory, I will restitch the scissor sheath.
CathyB gave me the chart/tin for my birthday from my wishlist. I SO enjoyed stitching this, Cathy-Thank you my friend!

Thank you all so much for your comments on Watermelon.

It has been a sad two days for us...my mom lost her beloved Rusty that I bought her almost 5 years ago... (daschund-brother of my late daschund Devon) yesterday in an accident. I have cried for her and felt my heart break for her, as he was like a child to her-she is so heartbroken. We will miss you, Rusty.

hugs to you all,

Bee Pinkeep :)

HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY TO MY DAUGHTER :) :) :) :)!!! I LOVE YOU DEARLY!!

We have a magazine challenge going on the FGBB that runs monthly. I chose to stitch Bee Pinkeep by LHN and CCN from The Gift of Stitching Magazine for my February challenge. I loved stitching this one and the way it turned out. If you recall, Vonna gave me a fob stitched using the center of the design for my birthday. I was going to change my challenge and pick something different to stitch since I received the design from Vonna, but I decided to make the pinkeep to go with Vonna's lovely fob :)

Birthday gift for Karen :)

Karen opened her birthday gift :) I am SO happy you like it, Karen :) I so enjoyed picking out, stitching and finishing this one for you :)
I used the peacock motif from Three Things Sampler-I know Karen likes Peacocks so it seemed appropriate. I finished it into a scissor pocket. You can read more about the project here.

An early birthday gift :)

I am so blessed to have such dear friends :) I received an early birthday gift today from dear Isabelle :) It actually arrived on Tuesday, but I didn't know it until an e-mail from Isabelle-they delivered to my front door (we do not use that door to enter our home) and left it on my porch and it was out in the weather for two nights-so I had to go ahead an open it to get it out of the wet packaging. I found it this morning after Isabelle said it was delivered on Tuesday :) AND, let me say I am so blessed to receive this BEAUTIFUL book from Isabelle :) It has some gorgeous projects in it. I know how stressed you were/are about birthday's my friend-you shouldn't have...but I am so touched by your gift :)
Thank you dear Isabelle you made my day sweet friend, as you already know :)

Are you a Good Egg?? :) :) :) {EDITED}

I think most of you are :) At least those of you that I have had the pleasure of befriending :)

Today has been spent working on boards and organizing my stitching room :) I took inventory on my "needs to be finished drawer" and found a project that I would like to share with one of you :) It's too cute!
The details are:
Good Eggs-the Trilogy
Fabric Used: 28 ct. Morning Glory Linen
Fibers used: WDW & GAST

If any of you GOOD EGGS out there that read my blog would be interested in having your name placed in a drawing to receive this project (it will be finished off into something before sending to the name drawn)please leave me a comment and let me know. I will draw a name and finish this project into whatever I decide upon and have it sent to you before the Easter Holiday. You may put your name in even if you are not interested in displaying it for Easter.

*** I will draw a name Friday :)

Marika----BB=Bulletin Board

Rosanna---I will place all the names in a box and "draw" (reach in and take one out without looking) the name to send this piece to :) ****

An invitation... {Edited}

I have decided to bring the Friends Gather BB back. I forgot I had set up a YUKU board for the FGBB last year when the EZboard rumors were going around-YUKU was so new then with lot's of bugs and almost impossible to work with, that I forgot I had set up 3 boards (USEBB, SBEBB and FGBB, in case EZboard closed-If we are forced to move the SBEBB and the USEBB-I have the boards available on YUKU-so no worries from my exchange members, I will just have to move all our information over there-but as long as we can stay on EZboard with the two exchange boards-we will do so). I found it last night while goofing around with another idea that Nicki and I are working on. Our forums are still there, but have no post yet as we never moved over to YUKU. I know there have been a few other boards and blogs created that are dedicated to some of the same forums I had offered on FGBB before it closed, and I understand some of you may not want to rejoin-that's OK too-Just letting you all know the BB is available if you wish to join. We can keep the current forums that are there and add any others we would like to see.
If you are interested in becoming a member again, or a new member, please visit the link provided.
You do not have to be a blogger to be a member of the FGBB. We will offer SAL's , challenges, RR's and other activities. If you would like to join us in the fun follow the link and apply for membership. PLEASE include a little info about yourself and at least your first name when applying :)
I have no stitching to share as it has all been b-day gifts, just because gifts and exchanges.

So I will leave you all with a pic to let you know just how much Rambler and Tucker have grown in a years time-as compared to the pics I shared with you the other day. (they both turned 1 in January 2007)
Here they are at 3 months :) the day we brought them home :) Gosh, they were so little :) Just like trying to remember when your kids were small...It's hard to remember Tuck and Rambler being so tiny :)

Have a great week and as always thanks so much for visiting-I appreciate it very much :) :)

***Edtied to add-I am having some e-mail issues. If you have sent me an e-mail within the last few weeks and have not received a reply-please resend -chances are I never received it. ALSO, a lot of e-mail is going to my JUNK box which usually gets dumped without looking through the hundreds of e-mail there -I found a few last night that needed to be replied to-some others could have been trashed as I couldn't go through them all. Please include a subject line in your e-mail :) and if you do not get a reply within a couple of days-please resend as I did not receive your mail***
