Some of you know that I have not been feeling very well for a bit-just felt something was not quite right. I went to the ER with stomach and back pain on Wednesday and they did blood work, CT and X-ray and referred me to my regular doctor. I had an appointment this morning and they found something on my CT scan-it looks to be a nodule on my right lower lung. They are sending me back for another CT scan-just waiting for a phone call as to when I need to go back to the hospital for that. To say I am terrified is a huge understatement. I am so much discomfort and now this news is devastating to me. I am trying to be very optimistic until we get the results of a new CT. If you pray, please add me to your prayer list. I would appreciate it so very much. I will not be available online for awhile-not sure when I will get back-I am in too much discomfort to sit at the computer-or even stitch :(. I will have my dd or Rick post when needed.
THANK You to Harmien and KarenV. I received a floss ring tag from both of them today and they are just so gorgeous and honestly made me cry. I am an emotional wreck right now and your thoughtfulness has touched my heart. Thank you Harmien and Karen and PLEASE forgive me for not being able to post pics of your lovely work...hopefully I will be able to do the things I love again soon and can share with everyone.
Thanks to Carolyn for helping me out.
I miss you all and think of you daily.
love,

I will not be available for any kind of contact for awhile...
We have had a very emotional week with our 13 year old Pom suffering from Seizures. He was put on meds for them on Wednesday but continued to suffer with them and today he had his last seizure and passed away. I know some of you will not understand this, but he was just like any human member of our family. We are so very heartbroken and we miss him already. I need time to mourn and grieve and will NOT be available online for a bit. Thank you for your understanding.

I just have the sweetest friends :)
Today brought goodies in the mail :) Isn't it always such a treat to find unexpected goodies in your mailbox?? Today was one of those days :) I come in and open the packages and I just sit there amazed for a few minutes and my hubby can always tell when I am touched by dear friends...I get a lump in my throat and I don't know about you guys...but I get all teary eyed knowing that someone thinks enough of me to gift me :)
Barbara, whom I just adore and I hope she knows it, sent me two wonderful charts and some lovely bee print fabric! I can't wait to use it in my finishing my friend :) Thank you so much, Barbara :)

And Sue-what a wonderful unexpected gift from her and it is not the first time she has surprised me (Barbara either-I have received unexpected goodies from her in the past as well) she sent me a lovely Friendship Spoon Handcrafted from quality hardwood from Wales. It's just so thoughtful and sweet of you dear Sue-My husband was intrigue by it :) It's just lovely! THANK you my friend!

And, Carol, she is always spoiling me with this and that-don't have pictures, but I also received a great package from her this week :) Thank you dear friend :)
And to Edgar and Andrea in Ma. Thank you so much for your sweet snail mail cards-they really brightened my day :)
I am blessed to have so many wonderful friends in this great blogging community. Thank you all for thinking of me :) I can't tell you how much it means to me :) I hope I can give back to you all tenfold :)
I am feeling much, much better now. I can tell I am just getting over a cold though and I am still trying to take it easy and stay out of the HEAT (and it's extremely hot here) so I don't have a relapse.
hugs and love to all my friends :)

It's been a very rough start to the new month....
I woke up last Thursday morning with a very bad sore throat and have had a summer cold since then. I am having trouble shaking it-it has been kicking my tail and I have felt really bad. I am improving as yesterday I didn't have to lie down any (you have to know me to know I only nap when I am sick)and my fever finally broke. I still feel worn out though and still congested :(
Nothing much on the stitching front to report-I did stitch and finish off Amy's first Seasonal exchange. She and I have agreed to send around the same time-so you will have to wait until August to see what I chose for her. She really didn't want anything seasonal-so I picked another design Ithink, *hope* she will like. I think it is just adorable!
I have honestly not felt like stitching-YEP, that's how bad I have been feeling-but I did put in a little time on Happy Home Sampler-I didn't take it out of the q-snap-so you can't see the top half I have already stitched. This pic reflects how far along I am on the sampler. You can see previous progress here.

I also finished Staci's Ornament. I love it and hope to mail it in the next few days along with the box that Pam won and the floss ring tag for my dear friend Andrea!
I have unanswered email as I just have not felt like being on the computer-my apologies and I will get them all answered when I can.
Thanks so much for your sweet, sweet words about my dear friend-she is certainly MISSED.
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your visits so very much! Please come again!

Friends....make memories
My heart is heavy this week as such a special lady died on Monday. I know she is in a much better place, but my heart is still hurting over her loss. Even though we had only been friends for 3 years I LOVED her so much and she was such a dear friend. She always made me smile!! I will always remember her and her gentle spirit and her love of life. Don't forget to tell your friends how special they are and how much you love them!!!!
I have some stitching to share. I am really not in a very social mood-please forgive me for not visiting with you. My stitching has helped me this week. I just got this chart at my last LNS visit. I love how this turned out. I finished it as a mattress pincushion.

Neat As A Pin
Designer: The Cricket Collection
Design Size: 2.8 x 4.1
Fabric: 32. ct. White
Fibers: DMC
Date Started:7-1-08
Date Finished: 7-2-08
I made this pinkeep for Vonna's B-day and she has emailed me to let me know she opened it and that she likes it :) I know Vonna loves Americana-so I chose this cute design for her from Glory Bee. I don't know the fabric as it was something I pulled from my scrap drawer.
Have a wonderful birthday my friend and thank you so much for your email.

And lastly for this post-one more special stitching place for me. Hubby found this wonderful antique chair-(it needs work but we have not had time to do that this week)and thought I may like to have it for a stitching chair in my bedroom. Isn;t he the sweetest?? I was surprised at how comfortable this chair is. I can see myself using it quite often.
The tree is my year round tree. I light it daily and it holds all sorts of smalls that need to hang. Smalls are a mixture of my work and that of friends. The framed piece is the first set of Snappers by BC.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Please come again.
Have a safe and happy 4th!!
