Before I went to the ER on the 23rd of July I had a few pieces that I couldn't share as they were gifts and/or exchanges. They have been received and I can share them now.
First up is the Seasonal Exchange for Amy. Amy really preferred not to receive seasonal pieces, so I chose something I knew she would like...bunnies! I finished it as a box topper. I love this one so much, it was the first piece I ever struggled with parting with-I usually have no problems with that as I know I am stitching for someone else-but this one was just too adorable and I coveted it for myself...but in the end, it was sent to live with Amy. I hope you will enjoy it, Amy!

Next is the Make a Wish for Carol. She wished for a tin topper and I granted her wish. I had wanted to stitch this part of a Gail Bussi design for awhile and thought it represented Carol and I with flowers and beehive.

Also, sent with the MAW for Carol was her birthday gift...this is not what I had intended for Carol's birthday gift, but I became sick and original plans fell through. Luckily I had this to fall back on so Carol didn't have to go without a B-day gift. I finished this SB NR design into a pinkeep.

I used a lovely trim that Su sent me.

The night before I fell ill, I did the finishing on a piece I had started. Little did I know that the next morning I would be awaken by debilitating pains in my back and stomach and not be able to stitch for awhile. I just love how this little piece turned out. Finished as a mattress pincushion.

Last but certainly not least is Happy Home Sampler. I felt so bad for so long that I didn't stitch at all and honestly wondered if I would be able to sttich again...YES, that's how bad I felt. When I finally had some energy, it was still not enough to dig through my stash...as much as I love going through my stash for the perfect piece to stitch-so I decided to pull out one of my WIP's and work on it when I could. It only took me 2 days of stitching to finish it up. I think it is beautiful and it will be one of the pieces I take to be framed in October.

There is no way I can catch up on blogs...OH my Goodness, there are so many unread feeds in my google reader that I will just have to start fresh.
Thank you to those that nominated me for Blog Awards...I appreciate you thinking of me-you're very kind! I am one of those that cannot choose a mere 5-7 blogs to give special mention to as
ALL the blogs I read are very creative and AMAZING and I wouldn't feel right picking and choosing among friends!!
I can't end this post without another THANK YOU for the email and comments on my last post. I was/am very fortunate to have so many wonderful people praying for me. I know I have been on several prayer lists and I am so thankful to you all for adding my name to those lists. I am a TRUE believer in the power of prayer. Thank you for lifting me up in prayer. Thank you to friends that cooked for our family for a week. You were life savers and the food was delicious (I miss it-but am SO thankful to be cooking again for our family-it was very difficult for someone as active as I am to be flat on my back for over a week)- I hope I haven't missed anyone and if so please know it is not intentional...you are all loved and appreciated and I hope to repay your kindness.
Thank you for visiting. I feel so blessed to have you visit with me. Please come again.
hugs,
BeckySC
