The fabric color is much truer in this top pic...not as blue looking as in the bottom pic!

Friends please forgive this post (I never go off like this and I apologize ahead of time)

OMGOSH! NO, I am not trying to show off...this is for those pathetic people out there that emailed me about trying to outdo others with my stash...WHAT????????? I was merely trying to share in a post about how important it is for me to find something that works to allow me to stitch some of the stash I have (yes I may have too much-but that's my business and besides..MANY people asked for pictures!!!!!!)-I am sure there are many others out there that have just as much or more stash than I. I was NOT trying to show off and the fact that you had to email me shows how PATHETIC you are. When have I gotten in your business or tried to tell you what to buy, when to buy it or what to do with YOUR money???? When you have to financially support me, maybe, just maybe then you can email me and tell me what to do in my life-until then-why don't you all get a life and leave us friendly/caring people alone. You are a SAD, SAD people that have nothing better to do than look to make trouble!! AND, you obviously don't know me as I would do most anything for anyone!!

Please know this is ONLY meant for the idiots that judged me and felt the need to email me-this was not meant to offend any of my readers or friends.

I may have a solution...

I had a pretty sleepless night-no, not because I was feeling bad (I have had a good week this past week-the best week I have had in long while-a lot of that has to do with my sweet, sweet husband) but because my brain was going round and round on WHAT and HOW I want to stitch so that I don't have to give up stitching SMALLS and will be able to make a dent in my larger and medium designs as well. I think I have a solution that will work for me. Hubby is taking me out to lunch today and I am not going to pass that up as you all know it's been awhile since I have felt like really going out and it gives me the opportunity to purchase a couple of items I need to help with the task at hand. I believe in the adage of "out of sight, out of mind" which has been the case in my large designs as well as many of my other designs as they are all filed away neatly in file cabinets. When I want to stitch something I have to go through them in the file cabinets to choose a design. I plan to make them more accessible by storing them in OPEN plastic totes. They will still be neatly kept-but a lot more accessible to me. I am also going to divide them into 3sizes. Small, Medium and large-and will choose one of each to work on at a time. This will give me the instant sense of gratitude of finishing Smalls and still afford me the time/projects for exchanges while at the same time I will be finishing medium and large pieces.
SO, stay tuned for an "edit" of this post later today with my new system in place. I have so many charts to go through and pull out the ones I want to stitch and do away with the ones I no longer have an interest it. That in itself will be a task-but one I look forward to.
I am excited about it and with any luck it will be easy for me to stick with :)

hugs,
BeckySC

I apologize that I didn't answer a question I had from Teresa.
I use recycled Altoids tins-I don't care for Altoids myself, but my hubby and DD do-I also have a group of ladies from church that save their tins for me. I have a huge collection of all sizes and shapes of tins :) Also, Teresa, you have me confused as I am not in the Crazy Exchange :)

I would also like to say a BIG thank you to Dianne C for the wonderful Bee related gifts she sent to me :) I just love them all! Sorry I kept forgetting to post the pic! My apologies, Dianne!

Pink Giveaway for October

Next month is dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness and prevention. And as we all know the universal color is PINK. I am giving away this lovely pink tin for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I have been wanting to try one of the narrow Altoid Gum tins for awhile now and this was the perfect choice of design. This is in remembrance of my SWEET, SWEET friend June that lost her life a few months back. She fought a hard battle with Breast Cancer and lived every minute she had to the fullest. She has been on my mind so much lately. I miss her dearly. If you would like a chance to win this tin-please leave a comment on this post and I will draw a name in October. Everyone welcome to enter. Sorry I couldn't get better pic..this is really very lovely IRL!

Finished as a tin

Thank you for stopping by. I have received some email today about my "quietness"...thank you for your concern. I do appreciate it. It's nothing anyone has done. I am still just not feeling like myself-there's just something wrong and until they can find out what it is, I don't think I will get back to normal. I am throwing myself into my stitching as it takes my mind off of health related issues. I hope to soon feel like reading/visiting blogs again.

Stay safe friends in the path of Hurricane Ike. I will keep you close in thought and prayer.
