Finding homes for my finds :)

I worked on a few of my bargains...finding places for them among my junk, I mean cherished treasures. Whatever you wish to call them, they make my heart sing :) I just love surrounding myself with things I love. :)

Perfect for some of my smalls :)This will look even better once we get the wall painted (2 rooms down, 2 to go)

For now I just placed my red shelf here. I also found the wooden biscuit cutter you see inside the cubby of the shelf back in February and you will remember my cherished Amish nesting boxes :)

The willow type tree you see here was another treasured find back in February when mom and I went treasure hunting :) It has a beehive base and little bees all over the tree!! And do you see the beehive shaped watering can?? LOVE IT!!

I initially intended to paint this black, but my hubby likes it green. I have been holding Joyful Summer for a perfect finish and this is it :) I just love it! This is not hanging where it will be hung. I plan to hang it near my table/display with the red shelf :)

I'm a "tweaker" so I will tweak these displays many times before I get them just as I want them :) and by that time I will probably find more treasures to add and "tweak" :) :) :) I love the Simple Life :)

Thank you my friends for stopping by for a visit :) I so enjoy your dropping by :) I have received several email about my previous posts with all my treasured finds-I will reply later today as it is WAY past my bedtime for a Saturday night/Sunday morning :)
Thanks for indulging me and allowing me to share with you :) Some of you are just too sweet :)
Hugs and love from SC :)

My favorite is the biscuit cutter! And of course the hanging shelf for smalls! I want to find just the thing for displaying my slow-but-steadily growing collection. I have seen the thing I want, but the price is $100. Which makes me think, "Gee, can't I do/make/find something better?" So, I keep holding off. Great finds!

The nesting boxes have actually been on my mind since you posted about that find. I hope to come across a set for myself one of these days! Joyful Summer looks great in the little shelf!!

I've just got to find one of those willow trees with the bees - it's gorgeous. I live in the UK and have just managed to find one with rusty stars, but bees - OMG!!

I love the willow tree covered in bees! My name - Melissa - means honeybee and so I too have lots of items with bees and lots of stitching with bees as well. I really enjoy your displays :)

Was the willow tree an antique or something newer? I'd love to have one of my own - especially as we have 2 large willows on our property! Can you tell us where you found it?

thanks!

We share common 'collections'. I have a similar biscuit cutter, but thought it was a butter mold... My hanging shelf is in the attic - what a great idea!
