Another step towards the BIG celebration :)

I have finished the last square on HoHRH . Initially I found it difficult to stitch this square after we received some bad news-it felt wrong to be stitching this verse when someone I love has received bad health news....but I worked it out and got it done :)
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO close to the BIG CELEBRATION. I have to go back and fill in house 6 and 9 with black-I left these as when I was working on them we had 3 family members in the hospital and as the black would be mindless stitching-it would be good for hospital visits....but in the end I did not take this project on visits so now I have to go back and fill in those two squares and add the date in the first square and then it will be FINISHED :) I can't wait!! Hopefully when it is completed I can get a TRUE picture of the fabric as it seems the fabric shows up differently in every shot I take :)

Now that I read the square, I understand your concern. I had not seen this fully stitched or charted before. I am glad you got by the hesitation, and it does look quite nice. Can't wait to see the finished piece!

You're such a speedy stitcher, it looks great :) Blessings to you and your family during this difficult time.

Oh Becky, I do understand your hesitation in stitching that last square. I probably would have felt the same. All that Irish superstition that I grew up with. :) But that piece is beautiful and it will be stunning when it is finished and framed. Something to be very proud of.

I hope your Mom is mending. Continued thoguhts and prayer for her and you too.

Wonderful! Can't wait to see your happy dance! I can see why the verse would be hard right now -- glad you got through it. Continued prayers for your mom -- and for you.

Oh wonderful! It looks beautiful even without the fill-in work.

I think my favorite is No. 6 (The "Left" center square). But I also like that Fence Cat! We have one in our neighborhood and he is so cute always hanging out on that fence after dusk. :3

Blessings to you and your dear Mom!

Wow, there is some beautiful stitching there! I can understand why you would have a difficult time with the last square but I'm glad you made it through it.
I seem to have the same problem every time I photograph a piece. The fabric never looks the same twice!
