Quakers and Quilts progress

I worked on Quakers and Quilts a bit today :) I just love the fibers used in this one and the colors are amazing....although I found the Quaker part a LOT more enjoyable to stitch than the quilt blocks-that's why this one is not complete yet :) BUT as we are suppose to enjoy our stitching...it will get done when it gets done :)
You can see my previous progress here :)

Designer: Rosewood Manor
Design Size: 15 x 8
Fabric: 40 ct. Lakeside Linen Lintel
Fibers: Valdani Floss 1 over 2
Start Date: 10-19-2009

I *HOPE* to stitch some smalls over the next few days as I am MISSING doing finishing work :) Though I have several large designs I want to start as well...but maybe can stitch a few smalls to satisfy my finishing needs :)

Julia.. you didn't leave an email address for me to reply to you-I am happy to help you with your question-please email me. Email is in sidebar :)

Thank you all so much for your continued visits to my blog. Please do come by again :)
hugs and love from SC :)

It's looking great. Funny how we enjoy stitching some parts of designs more than others. You'd think all x's would be the same!

Beautiful!

I'm the opposite with things to be finished piling up, but all I want to do is stitch, stitch, stitch! :D

I also love to stitch/finish smalls too :) I have a few larger projects though that I can now give my attention too with the odd small in between to keep things interesting! Dont' give up on this one it will be gorgeous finished :)

Oh, I love this one too! I have it in my stash to stitch "some day". Don't you just love stitching with the Valdani threads?

What smalls are you looking to start? Christmas designs?

Thanks for sharing.

It's just gorgeous Becky! And I'm with you...your stitching is meant to be enjoyed! So do it at your own pace, it's not a race, lol!

I remember when you started working on this one--you have progressed nicely. It is gorgeous! I know what you mean about liking parts and not other parts... Funny how that works! Hugs.

Quakers & Quilts is really looking good! I have a friend who is working on it and she isn't thrilled with the quilt parts either. It is so much fun to see how you finish your smalls; I'll be looking forward to them!

It's so beautiful, Becky! I can totally understand enjoying one part of that piece more than the other. They are different, aren't they?

What a pretty piece! I'm just kitting up RM Spring Quaker but I'm having a hard time finding a supplier of the Valdani threads. Any suggestions?

That is a beautiful design. I think I stitch smalls to get my finishing fix also. I always think of it as instant gratification. :0)
Can't wait to see your progress!

Quakers and Quilts is looking great, Becky! I know just what you mean about needing the "quick fix" that smalls offer--I probably would be totally satisfied stitching only ornaments!

40ct! Not in my wildest dreams could I stitch on that, but your work is beautiful. And, this is another very pretty sampler. You all are going to drag me to the other side - the sampler side - aren't you?

It looks wonderful Becky. And you are definitely right about how we're suppose to enjoy our stitching. I think that's why I have so many WIPS! :o)
