Quakers and Quilts

I finished Quakers and Quilts and I am just so happy with this piece. For those that are procrastinating stitching the quilt blocks or decided against it...please rethink it as they just make the whole piece. I have had so many compliments on it this week. It is so gorgeous -these pics cannot do it justice at all-this is one gorgeous piece IRL!!! I am SO happy I decided to stitch the entire design as I was "dreading" the quilt blocks. The only thing I changed is the 3rd quilt block. It is suppose to have b/s in the points of the star and I stitched it into one point and liked it SO much better without-so I omitted the b/s there only :)
I DO plan to frame this one myself :)

You do such beautiful work! I just started my blog so I'll have to show a few of my cross stitch pieces...my blog isn't just about cross stitch, it's about other crafty things too...I notice you have made the Rosewood manor on Linen..Is linen hard to work with? I only use Aida because I'm afraid to attempt any other fabrics. Well, it was nice meeting you and visiting your blog...have a nice day,

It is truly beautiful, neighbor.

One of the women at stitch night said she was going to stitch the quilt section above the letters as well, in reverse. If she said, I didn't hear, but if I were doing that, I'd also stitch the separator and the motifs, too. Lots of work!

Oh Becky! This is stunning! I have the pattern, the threads are on my wish list. (are you interested in selling your leftovers??) I agree that the quilt blocks are a must. Congrats on a fabulous finish!
