Holiday PICTURE HEAVY !!!

For Carolyn, Jane, Emilee and Joan in AZ (and a couple more I can't remember right off-but thank you all so much for emailing and your interest)who have asked about posting pics of my home for Christmas. I toned it WAY down this year ladies-those of you that have followed my blog the last 5 years will see I have only done about 1/4 of the decorating I usually do :) I usually move out everything that is everyday displays in my home and it's nothing but Christmas in every room of my home-I usually have 4-5 large trees that are themed. I didn't put up my Angel, snowman, nutcracker or all Santa large trees- this year since we are having guests for 3 weeks I just didn't do that :) BUT I am enjoying each and every display around my home :)
Here are some pics for you lovely ladies that have inquired :) :)
Den

Laundry Room

Dining Room

This tree has mini cookie cutters on it that are not showing up well in the pic.

Merry Christmas my friends :)
hugs and love from our house to yours :) Make some memories :)

Wow. I thought I had a lot of Christmas stuff but you definitely take the cake. I'm having difficulties of my own with decorating. The one year old can reach the stockings if I hang them from the mantle. Not a good thing.

I see you do a lot of Santa. Is he another one of your favorites besides the Gingerbread men who reside in your kitchen?

Melissa said...

OmG, Christmas heaven! Becky, you do take the cake. Everything is beautiful of course. I don't do much decorating so I live vicariously through your Christmas photos! ;-)

Merry Christmas!

ok. so I thought I had alot of Christmas here @ Henley's Landing but you girl,,,well I think you have us beat. Not that it is about that but somehow I feel better seeing your home. With my collection of 500 + snowmen and many Santa's I leave them out year round number 1 simply coz I love each and every one and they all have a special meaning and only 5 are repeats and all being of a rustic nature, and number 2 where the heck would I store them? Kudos to you for making my world more enjoyable just by knowing I do not stand alone... I love the blue suede matt on the center Santa and I have stitched several of the same pictures you have chosen, and that is always nice to see when others share their lives with us...
Be always in stitches.

Christmas Wonderland!

:D :D :D

My favorites are the laundry room tree and the small tree atop your singer table. :)

I'm also a big fan of Santa-themed decor at Christmas.

I'm having my fun working on stitching a model and also that PS Santa & Friends with the Foxes.

Our tree had to be taken apart 'cause a strand of lights died, so I'm remaking it. Grr. It will be so relaxing to gaze upon when finished, though.

I am rejoicing with you, my friend, to read about the pain-free life you've been enjoying! Prayer works! :D

Becky, your home looks amazing!!
I wish I had the time and energy to decorate my home like this. For now I'll just go with the enjoyment of looking at yours.
Do you leave your snowmen out all winter? They're my favourites.
And all those lovely stitched ornaments.... a real testament to your talent!
Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!

I love all the Christmas decorations. Each year I enjoy seeing all your displays. I think you love decorating for Christmas as much as I do. (I'm always a little sad to take it down on Jan. 6, Three Kings Day or Twelfth Night.)
Thank you for sharing your lovely and inviting home.

Wow, Becky! My very dear MIL would have loved your home! She was a Christmas collector who looked forward to decorating all year. She had multiple trees, every table/flat surface had some decorations. I miss but I enjoy putting out some of her treasures in my own home now. Thank you for bringing back such wonderful memories. Merry Christmas! Nancy in NY

I love your home!! We put out a lot of Christmas decorations as well, but I have very few handmade ones. That is going to change this year - one of my goals. I think I might save one of your pictures of your stitched ornament trees as motivation.

Thanks for sharing your joy!

To say your house is overflowing with stitchy things, isn't a stretch, is it?? It looks great and festive. Makes me think my 3 trees and all my decorations are minimal!

You have an absolutely stunningly decorated house. I cannot even imagine how long it must take to put it all up, but the sight is well worth it.

Your house looks so festive and so much you!
I have about about a 3 foot feather tree that works well for cross stitched pieces. I don't have the amount you do, but it's getting there. I really like it.
