This was just one of those FUN designs!!!!

I finished the stitching on Botanical Sewing Pocket last night. I didn't stitch the fob as I am not big on fobs and I have quite a few if I need one :) This was a fun stitch. The linen is not your normal Gingham linen-this one is a much different weave and was a bit different to stitch on-you have to be careful stitching on it or you will distort the linen. I *hope* to do the finishing soon.

A new start...

Last night I started Chessie & Me's Botanical Sewing pocket and fob. LOVING it so far and looking forward to stitching on it this evening. YES, I meant to start this close to the edge-I didn't see any reason for wasting fabric and was able to cut the fabric in half and now have enough left from my cut of fabric to stitch another design that uses this linen :) The extra linen on the bottom is for the needle page and the fob.



Here is what the finish will look like :) And YES I am using the called for linen...I know the pic looks lighter, but I am using what the chart calls for linen-wise and fiber-wise:)

Buttons and Blooms

This piece is near and dear to my heart as I had a very dear friend pass away from breast cancer and as I stitched this I thought of her. Today would have been her birthday. I miss her!!
I made some changes and did not finish the pillow off as the model and I will not be using the ditty bag with it (but will use it with another project) This project was gifted to my by Nicki :) I enjoyed it VERY much !!

I have finished house 9 with the exception of filling in the sky with black. I am leaving that and house 6 which the entire background has to be filled in with black until I have completed all the houses as it will be mindless stitching that I can take along with me anywhere to stitch on :)

Flower Bouquet Pin and Needle Cupcake

I LOVED working on this one-stitching time was less than an hour...AND the finish is such fun and EASY PEASY :) I can see a LOT of these in my stitchy future-I think they will make great gifts to stitchy friends, who like this type finish :) :) :)
