We have not been able to have the funeral services yet for my niece due to circumstances of the fire and then the weather prohibited the services. They are now scheduled for Monday morning. It has been a very difficult time for our family-but we are very close and spending lot's of time together to help us heal. We are blessed to have such a wonderful caring family, friends, community and churches. The outpouring of food, donations of clothing and many other items that were ALL lost in the fire, financial help for her husband and daughter, and just the amount of love and care that has been shown to our family and continues to be is overwhelming. We are so blessed.
I would like to say thank you to Melissa E for your beautiful gift and to Lynda A (sorry Lynda-I could not find your mailing addy-I know I have it somewhere) for such lovely thoughtful gifts and YES, they put a smile on my face. Thank you both for thinking of me! Thank you to all that have sent cards to the house. They are so appreciated and REALLY do help.
Unfortunately my heart is just not in blogging right now. Please continue to pray for our family.

I am so glad to hear that you are surrounded by love and support. Again, my deepest sympathy for this terrible tragedy.
Becky, I'm still praying for your family and think of y'all every day. As one that has been through a house fire and lost everything, I know how difficult it is and how much we have to depend on others. If you could let me know some things that they might need, etc, I would be glad to get a box together and send to you to give to them. It's so very hard starting over, especially when a loved one has been lost. I would love to help in any way I can. Or if money would be better, I can send a little bit of that instead. My thoughts and prayers continue for your cousins family. Since I have known what it like to loss everything you own to a fire this touches my heart. Just before my sixteenth birthday our home burned to the ground but thankfully we all made it out unharmed.
