1896....

I thought since I had to post the winner of the giveaway that I may as well share another update of Emma Rose. I hope you all don't mind :) This Sampler is so colorful and such an enjoyable stitch! I decided to restitch the year in the roof of the yellow house and make it 1896 which was my granny's birth year :)

I'm considering getting this one and stitching it in honor of my grand-daughter. Her name is Emma Ann and one of the names considered for her WAS Emma Rose - a combination of two great(many times over) grandma names.

It's nice to see it started.

Awesome!! I am so happy that you are personalizing it with your granny's birth year! Wonderful! Actually I envisioned my grandmother Emma Rose, to be about 10, for this sampler...meeting her friends under the willow tree!:) She was born in 1848...wow, that is a long time ago, huh?

I can't believe how much progress you have on it, it is looking so fabulous!!!

love, scoob

Looks great!!! Is that an 11 by 17 Qsnap? Do you hold it in your hand when you stitch or do you have a stand to attach it to?
