Let me share something happy...

and something that lifted my spirits last month when most needed. This is the BEEutiful pillow I received as a gift from sweet Melissa . It is so pretty and so nicely finished. It is stuffed with rose petals from her garden. Isn't it just too sweet??? Thank you again my friend for your friendship and thoughtfulness :)

Lynda-again I thank you for all the wonderfully sweet gingerbread gifties you sent to me-I thought I took a pic before I put them away with my decorations-but I can't locate it on my camera. PLEASE know though that I LOVE each one and YOU :)

Vonna, Edgar, Ellen S, Rafaella-thank you SO much for your cards. I have shared them with my family-they meant SO much to me!!

Thank you so much for your comments/emails and support-just so you understand, we have not suffered another loss-but have a family member very sick and it will be a very long road ahead. I would so appreciate your continued prayers for us.

Thank you for visiting. As I said I will be very hit and miss for awhile as we go through different stages of doctor visits and treatment for this family member-but I plan to stitch as much as I can as it helps me to remain calm more than people understand (well..fellow stitchers understand) and I do hope to maintain contact with so many of you.

I also have a basket full of GREAT stash I plan to put up for sale at some point-but with all that has happened in the last month is got pushed aside. I have some Just Nan (exclusive kits from the Silver Needle) among them. Hopefully I can post some of it soon.

hugs and love from SC,

I'm so glad that you've gotten some cheering mail. It is a hard thing to have a family member sick. You want to help them and fix it for them and it is hard to sit by and watch. I'm thankful that you have your stitching as a comfort. Praying for you!

Our craft can be reassuring in the fact that one little stitch after another can bring some type of order and calm to the overwhelming difficulties of life. Sometimes, just the knowledge of still being able to create beauty during hard times helps.

Thinking of you and praying for your family during this difficult season,

Nancy
