For those that have asked-the batting is only strips cut to protect my stitching and the linen.
Linda-No, I am not using a stand -just in hand with the Qsnap and I use the "My Favortie Needle Brand" petit-no longer made :( :( :(-it is VERY small and my most favorite needle :)
Thank you all for visiting. I appreciate it very much! Please do come again :)

You are such a prolific stitcher. I admire your passion for this art. You accomplish so much and obviously find joy in creating with needle and thread. I always find inspiration and leave with a smile each visit.
I know I speak for so many Becky and it may not be said enough but I hope you know how much those of us that read your blog take away with us. It certainly makes us crave needle and thread and gives us the push we may need to make time for it in our lives. Thank you for sharing.
It's a splendid tree indeed! I'm glad that you are enjoying this stitch so much. It's wonderful. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Wow...it's looking great! You are a speedy stitcher!!!
That is a beautiful design and the colors just 'pop' off of the linen.
Looks like you've gotten pretty far on it already!
Tanya
You are absolutely flying on this one!
I love the willow tree too....very nice. You're making serious progress with this project. I really love it when I find something that is a joy to stitch.
You really are zipping along on this one. I like that tree. Glad you're enjoying the journey you are taking with this one.
That is too cute!
Ooooohh, the willow tree is too cute! You must be a very quick stitcher! It is looking great! Are you using batting behind your work? Just wondered because I can see it sticking out around the piece! I have never done that with cross stitch, only embroidery. Actually, it never really crossed my mind, so I am anxious to know if you do?
Hugs,
Leisha
It sure is a very pretty piece! I look forward to watching your progress!
I really liked this chart when I saw it online, but seeing what you've stitched is so much better. I think everything you stitch looks better. You just have a special touch!
Great job Becky....this is such a pretty design! Your needles must be smoking....can't wait to see more.
Happy stitching...

What size needles do you use?

Looks wonderful Becky!! I just adore your passion for the art of stitching.
I love the willow effect as well. You've made such nice progress. I wish I had stitched more the last several days but I had the baby Tues morning and the nurses kind of turned me into a pincushion :( so my arms are recovering. Hoping to maybe stitch tomorrow.
Dear Becky I can see why you are enjoying stitching this much as it is truly beautiful:) I look forward to seeing your progress every time :)
I love this piece, it's beautiful. I didn't realize they aren't making the petit needles anymore, I enjoy using them when I use 36 or 40 count linen.
Ooooh...I do love this design too! I see a trip to my LNS for a little retail therapy! You've done a lovely job stitching it! *Hugs*
