Martha-I could not stitch on 40ct. without my reading glasses. I couldn't even see the fabric without them...LOL! My hubby made the comment about how tiny the stitches are. I ADORE 40ct and it is actually my favorite fabric to stitch on but I do have to use my readers to stitch on it.
Someone else asked where I get my fabric. I buy it from various LNS's-but mostly my local LNS and I keep a stock of all counts :). I like to have a variety of choices when I choose a new project and having supplies to choose from on hand.
Michelle-thank you again for your sweet gift this week. I love the ribon and the button. You are such a sweetheart!
Thank you for visiting. I appreciate it so very much! Please come again :)
Have a great week!

It certainly is pretty! I'm stitcing on 40ct too but being incredibly short sighted I stitch without glasses, holding the fabric very close! I'm stitching Simply Live from the Primitive Needle, begun after hearing of Lisa's untimely death.
That is looking really nice! I have this pattern to stitch, as well as several others of hers. I think I may have to bump this one up in line to do!
Becky,
You sure are stitching some great designs this year and large designs at that. I look forward to each post as I am always so inspired. I wish I had your stash or even 1/4 of it.
Feather Your Nest it coming along beautifully. I love that Robin!
Blessings for the new week ahead.

This piece is coming along beautifully Becky!! I love that red shade.....Take care, Faye
Lovely progress! It looks great.
That is looking so adorable. Very appropriate as I have started seeing Robins in the yard. I look forward to your finish.
Very pretty! I like 40 count. If I'm wearing my contacts, I have to use readers, if not I'm good. Weird.
I read this as "feather your Next Update". :)
So lovely, the colours are gorgeous. And, you are very right that it is one huge bird! :o
It's coming along nicely, Becky! You are a brave woman to be stitching on 40ct! I couldn't even attempt it!
It really is gorgeous! I love the colors! Brenda makes the most lovely designs.
Oh Becky I am glad you liked the Ribbon and button - I love your new design its looking so pretty xx
This is such a precious new start, Becky. It is so lovely!
It is really comming along nicely! Very pretty design!
I've yet to stitch on 40ct but I do have a piece of it around because I want to try it. I just have to find the right design for the color I have which is a light lavender.

Feather Your Nest is looking great! Can't wait to see how you are going to finish this piece.
Hugs,
Oh he's so pretty! Could the larger parts of this design translate into a punch needle version? I don't know much about it.

I am just loving this one Becky, the colours are splendid.
I must admit, I have never worked on 40ct yet, but I bought a grab bag and there is a piece of it in there, just have to find the right project to use it for first.

Wow, I am just loving this one, Becky! I am going to have to add it to my must have list! I love checking out your blog and seeing all of your things in various stages! I have to wear my readers as well, almost on everything that I work on now! Getting old, I guess! Have a grea day!

Becky, this reminds me of the song about a Red Red Robin! It's lovely. Doesn't red just make you happy?
I hope one day I can stitch on 40 ct too. I thought I would give it a try in the spring/summer when I can get the benefit of natural light outside.
What a beautiful piece, Becky! I love the colors - they're so rich and folky - right up my alley!
very beautiful!
This just keeps getting prettier and prettier! Looking at the colours on the photo on the front of the chart, they seem too bright, but seeing it stitched the colours are much nicer. Are you using the recommended colours or have you chosen your own?
I have yet to try 40ct but I have used 36ct without any trouble. x
This looks great! I too love 40 count, Lakeside Linens being my favorite.
Just beautiful!
