And since I am feeling better and it doesn't hurt as much to speak of it-I wanted to share the gorgeous wreath that my family (my mom and dad, grandmothers and my aunts and uncles) sent in memory of my FIL. We used this at the front of the church during his services. I need to find a place to hang it-but I couldn't at first-I just couldn't swallow when I looked at it. Isn't is gorgeous though?

And last but not least...I have a few scissors frogs that I want to offer to my readers that may not have one and would like the chance to receive one. These are the frog part only-you will need to find your own base for them-but that's easy :) I have 4 to offer. If you would like a chance to receive one please do leave a comment and a way to contact you and I will draw 4 names on Sunday. No specifications on which frog you would like-I will put 1-4 on them and as I draw names the first name will receive the frog labeled 1 and so on.

Ellen from Singapore, Cath and Lynn (Kearnel) I have not forgotten about you :)
Thank you all so much for visiting and for your continued comments and emails. I have felt so loved this past week and I can't thank you enough. I have made several new friends from readers that have emailed condolences and comments on my stitching. It makes the world seem smaller when people reach out to you from all over. Please know I appreciate EACH and EVERY person (old friend or new, lurker or passerby) that takes time to visit. My spirits have indeed been lifted this week as I was feeling really sad and my heart just hurt. Thank you for sharing the love!
hugs and love from SC,

Lovely stitching - a beautiful wreath and super gift-a-way!! Always so nice to visit you dear Becky!!! Hugz!!
Beautiful finishes! I'm so happy to hear that stitching and finishing is helping to heal your broken heart.
Always sending LOVE and HUGS your way:)))
Stitching does help soothe the soul doesn't it? Becky, I want to enter your give-away for my friend Ranae. Her blog is Stitch by Stitch. Please go to my blog to see the story about how she bought 2 frogs at our retreat and then promptly gave them away to two other stitchers who wanted a frog. That was so sweet of her!!! My blog is www.maudeandmozart.blogspot.com. Thanks!!!!
So glad your spirits are being lifted! Your stitching and finishing are lovely as always! That wreath is beautiful! Please don't enter me in the frog giveaway, I have one already. Blessings!
What sweetly finished items Becky...all are stunning as usual :) And gorgeously stitched!
The wreath is beautiful, we have one from my Aunt's funeral (she passed near Christmas and my Mama hangs it every year, so she's with us too).
Have a blessed day Becky!
I struggle with finishing and routinely run out of ideas. Your finishing gives me great inspiration--love the buttons on the side with pins!!
I'm happy to see a new post in your blog!
What a lovely finishings you've done!
Wish luck to everybody to win one of the beautiful frogs!
Have a great weekend, Becky!
I struggle with finishes. You are in the midst of stitching & finishing so many wonderful things! I have enjoyed coming to your blog since finding it : ) The wreath is beautiful. I have no idea what a frog is but if it's connected with cross stitching I'd love to be considered for one : ) Blessings, Shirlee
I love the stitching finishes. They are so cute. I'm glad you are feeling better. The wreath really is pretty. Maybe haning it in the entry hall for all to admire? Love those frogs too. Those are the kind I don't mind. LOL
Such great finishes Becky! I'm amazed at your ability to find new ways to finish your stitching off!
The wreath is just gorgeous! Very touching thing for your family to do.
xoxo
I love that gingham ornament - the fabric is great!! I would love to enter your frog giveaway - I have never had one!
I'm glad to see you're back, Becky. I've missed seeing your creative finishes.
I pray things continue to look up for you and your family. I can't imagine going through what you all have gone through in such a short period of time.
Have a great day!
I'm so glad to see you back and all of your pretty stitching and finishing that you've been doing. It's all wonderful as always. The wreath is gorgeous! It will have bittersweet memories for you every time you hang it up, but it is too pretty to put away.
Love your froggies. I've looked everywhere high and low (actually went out yesterday looking for some) and have yet to find any. I would love to be put in your drawing for one.
Thank you for the Christmas reminder. It IS right around the corner. Time to get busy.
Lovely finishes; the summer is appropriate, since summer won't give up, and the snowman is a cutie! I have a very nice frog, so please don't include me; I just wanted to comment on your finishes and tell you how beautiful the wreath. If my experience is anything to go by, now that you can look at it without too many tears, it will bring you comfort and happier memories when you do see it. Glad you're coping a little better. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! More great finishes from you. I especially love the Prairie Schooler one. Their charts always look great stitched up. And what a wonderful wreath and remembrance of your FIL. To me, those items are more important than pictures.
Beautiful finishes ,as always , X
The wreath is gorgeous , and will eventually help you to remember the good times too .
Take care ,
What a beautiful and special wreath. Hang it somewhere you can enjoy it each day. The stitching is just beautiful and how sweet of you to offer the frogs for those without one yet!
Becky, I just love the way you finish all your beautiful stitching. You are so creative. I love your blue stitching box from yesterday and your PS ornament today is so cute.
The wreath from your FIL's funeral is so beautiful. I'm glad to hear that your heart is starting to heal. Hugs to you :)
Love the PS Snowman, great choice of fabric.
The wreath is beautiful and a wonderful reminder of your FIL, I think it needs to be somewhere, where the whole family gather, so your FIL will be near you all, always xx.
I've never seen, or heard of scissor frogs before, they look lovely, but please don't include me in the giveaway, they look heavy and delicate!!!
I'm so glad you're feeling better, and you continue to do so.
Love to you all, always.

Hi Becky, It is so so good to read your blog again. You were in my prayers regularly these past several months. Pleae include me in the frog giveaway. I have wanted one for ages and just can't seem to find one here. Maybe they're there and I just don't see them... we don't have many great antique stores out here. Take care and thanks!
Great finishing Becky, you're so inspirational for being so generous. That is truly a gorgeous wreath. Best wishes to you.
How wonderful that you have the wreath. It will be such a nice remembrance as the pain eases and the good memories remain.
Your finishing is wonderful! I just love the Prairie Schooler snowman. What a clever finish!
Two more wonderful finishes! You always seem to have the perfect fabric to use in your finishing. You really have the knack for finding great things. The wreath is stunning and a very sweet tribute to your FIL. I don't have a flower frog. I used to think I didn't have enough scissors to need one, but that is not the case anymore so please throw my name into the pot!
ladybug8@bellsouth.
don't know how but I missed this one :) lovely finishing and love the wreath too ...I've just won a beautiful scissor frog so don't add me to the list (though its almost like having scissors a girl can't have too many ..lol :) love mouse xxxx
Lovely! Gosh, it is all great esp. the PS ornament (I need to find some green gingham ribbon just like that for A visit fr. St. Nicholas!) and FiL's wreath. I love how it seems very evocative of home, nature, comfort and a cozy nest. It is truly a sweet tribute. Thank you for sharing it with us.
P.S. I will pass on the frog entry as I have been winning too many things recently and am not really into frogs in the first place. I know most of your readers really yearn for them and will be so thrilled to own one! :)
Beautiful stitching and finishing, your works are my inspiration!
I would love a chance to win a flower frog, can't find one in Singapore.
Hugs,
Hi again! I love the bird in the middle of the wreath! So sweet!! Your finishing is, as always, perfect for each piece. And I may copy your styles...They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery!! I have been doing some finishing this week, and will post pics of some (not all can be shown just yet!)soon... I don't have a scissor frog, but I haven't really looked. Please don't enter me, as there are people in other countries and smaller towns, etc. that would be better served. Big Hugs to you!
Hi Becky, love the frogs, your wreath and finishes.
So glad you're finding comfort in friends who care for you.
Your snowman finish is just soo cute Becky. The wreath from your family is also gorgeous and I'm sure you will treasure it always.
I have never had any luck trying to find a frog where I live, so I would love the chance to win one from your giveaway. Thanks for the opportunity dear friend. Hugs.
Lovely finishes! I love how you did the snowman!
Great frogs! I have some already, but none like the dark one, is that black?
What a beautiful wreath Becky...may it remind you of all the good times. Hugs...
So glad to have you back and showing your stitching. I've missed you! The PS Snowman is wonderful!

More really lovely finishes, and gorgeous gifts I just love to see what you will do next with your stitching :)
What a beautiful wreath,I hope you have found that special place to hang it.
Sweet Becky,
The wreath is just lovely and is going to be a very special addition to your autumn decorations. I am glad that you have healed to the point where you can hang it up for display.
The PS ornament is super cute!
Much Love to You.
I love the wreath! I think wherever you display it, you will have fond memories of your father in law.
My father in law died over the summer, and two of my co-workers sent a peace lily to me; it sits on my desk at work as a wonderful reminder of the sweetness of friends in those difficult times.
Both of your finishes are pretty!
That wreath is so beautiful Becky! How lovely that you were able to take it home. It may hurt to look at it right now but eventually you'll be able to smile when you pass it with loving remembrances of your FIL.
Your two finishes are gorgeous. I've missed seeing all your finishes.
What a generous giveaway. I won't participate in this one since I have several scissor frogs of my own.
More adorable work. The wreath, it is lovely.
