I had a date with my mom this morning. We enjoyed some shopping and browsing and just each others company. She is in very good spirits.
I needed a new Christmas Tree for the family room and it REALLY put me in the holiday spirit picking out a tree...SOOOOOOOOO, I decided I want to offer a Secret Santa Giveaway to my readers. What does this mean?? It means that whoever wins will receive a Christmas goodie package from me. Glad you're feeling better about your mom and that you were able to spend time together. My mom was diagnosed with an advanced form of cancer when she was 85. Completely shocked us and was hard on her. But five years later, no signs of anything and she's doing fine. You never know what God has in store and He holds her and you in the palm of His hand. :)

How exciting to get a new tree! We two trees in my house, one is the main one which is live tree. And then I have an artifical (which is beautiful) which I hang all my stitched treasures on! However this year I think I may have to add a third tree (a smaller one) to make it a theme tree (santa, snowman, name tree) not sure yet, but that's what I would like to do.
