The Winner of Gathering Bakset is....

Jackie Please email me with your mailing information Jackie.
Again I thank you for visiting with me-I so enjoy your visits and most all of you know I so enjoy giving. That's what makes me happiest :) :)

Thank you to EACH and EVERY one of you that touched my life this year. This has certainly been one of the most difficult years of my life and it looks like it's gonna be for a while longer with my dear mother-BUT, I am so thankful and feel so blessed to have so much to be thankful for in my life. Sometimes the bad overshadows the good and we question life and we think this or that isn't fair or why is this happening to me.... but in the end I am so blessed and RICH with friends and family, that My Cup Runneth Over-it honestly does. Thank you for all the prayers you sent up for our family so many times this year and I do ask that you keep sending them up-we are a family that definitely believes in the power of prayer and I just know my mom is going to come through this all and be happy and healthy once again. Thank you for each and every email and card you sent during our losses and continue to send for my mom. It's overwhelming. Thank you for understanding that amongst it all I sometimes needed time to myself-thank you for understanding why I had to be away for 6 months while my FIL battled cancer. Thank you for never being selfish. Though I may not always get to answer each email or comment individually or stay in constant contact I do hope you realize how much I appreciate all of you. Thank you for holding us close-thank you for your friendships!!

NOW, I have 2 more pieces I want to stitch again for someone. If you are a regular reader of my blog and would like a chance to have either of these pieces stitched and ready to display please leave a comment on THIS POST ONLY-let me know if you are interested in one or both designs. I will choose a name soon. I may not get them ready before Christmas as I still have some gifts I want to stitch for friends and family-but I will be working on them as I can.
What are they??
The first one is Jenny Bean's Pin Tuffet. Here is a pic of the one I stitched for myself.
And the other is the Tulip House Stitching Companion. I have stitched this one twice now and enjoy it so much I want to stitch it again. Here is a pic of the one I stitched for myself.

Happy Thanksgiving my friends-it certainly has been for my family (my MIL and SIL's called today as they are spending this first Thanksgiving without FIL out of state with my BIL's family and they all sounded really good-that makes my heart happy)

Hugs and love from SC,
BeckySC

2011 has been a difficult year for many of us stitchers. I am glad that you are back to blogging and stitching again.

A stitching friend just revealed her daughter is in 3rd stage liver failure and her son is in jail. Her job is in jeopardy and 2 grandsons were diagnosed with serious illnesses this year.

Surely 2012 will be better. Our prayers stay with you and others in this stitching family!

I'm glad you enjoyed Thanksgiving. I've just returned from a wonderful 3 week holiday in America. The lovely friend I stayed with did a run through Thanksgiving dinner while I was there. It was incredible!!

Dear Becky:

Happy Thanksgiving! I am continuing to pray for your Mom and I, too, believe in the power of prayer! I have seen evidence of it in this past year when I have been dealing with horrible pain. Without my family and friends prayers, I don't know what I would have done or if I could have made it through. God is so good to be there for us!

I love your projects - love the tulip one the most, but anything made by you is gorgeous and I would be thrilled to win either one. :)

God bless you!

Becky - I might not always be a regular commenter, but I sure do read your blog all the time. You and your family have definitely had a rough year. It makes my upcoming troubles seem small in comparison, at least they're not life or death. I need to remind myself of that when I start getting down.

Both projects you're offering to stitch for someone are adorable, I'd love a chance to win either of them. Thank you for being so generous.

I'm catching up with blog reading and saw your last 12 posts. Again, I must tell you what an amazing (and fast) stitcher you are. Awesome. About your mom--65 is young so on the positive side, she will have more strength to deal with her illness and come through beautifully than if she were "old." Only positive thoughts from me to you!

Hi there beautiful, just dropping by to say "hello" and wish your Mum all the best with her health - I haven't been visiting blogs for a few months myself due to a change in personal circumstances, but I wanted you to know that I was thinking of you xx One of my fave aunties in the UK has just been given the 'there is nothing else we can do' statement by her oncologist, so the big "C" is very present in my mind at the moment - and I have my fingers crossed that your Mum comes through this swiftly and perfectly! xxx
