Bluebirds Needles and Pins

This sweet pin pillow will be going out to one of my readers. My only concern it choosing someone that may already have it.....
It is finished off with coffee stained rickrack and a HT fabric for backing.

Well isn't that just the cutest thing! I don't know how you had the time to get it made with all that baking!

The apple-walnut bread sounds yummy. I'll be making cookies on Friday for our friends and family, using my great-grandmother's tea cake recipe.

Merry Christmas!

Lovely finish Becky! So Christmas-y with the red motifs that look like snowflakes.

The George C Scott version is my favorite too - I watched it 2 weeks ago when I was sick. He makes a great Scrooge!

The pin cushion is very sweet.

Have you seen the 1938 version of A Christmas Carol with Reginald Owen? The (Gene) Lockhart family is very good in this film. Then there's the 1951 version with Alastair Sim, terrific acting. I like to watch both each year...along with Remember the Night.

Only made a mess as I have tons of them and started weaning off the meds before I got done. Love the newest finish. Adorable finish Becky! That cute little blue bird really pops out from the other stitching. It reminds me of summer.

Apple walnut bread sounds so yummy. I'm sort of with you, if I'm going to bake I might as well do it in a grand fashion. Once you have all the ingredients out, its just as easy to double or triple the recipe as it is to just make a loaf or 2.

Becky, this is adorable. I don't think I have ever seen this BB pattern before. Lovely finish.
