Final Blog Giveaway....

This is going to be the last giveaway I offer on my blog. After this giveaway, there will not be any further giveaways that you have to sign up for... I will be sending RAK's out to my regular readers. I will pull names from the comments and randomly send out surprises to my regulars-I hope to be able to do this at least once a month.

What is this giveaway? It is a gorgeous box that will be finished off and sent to one of my regulars. I have not decided on the design I will be stitching yet for the box, or how I want to finish the inside....it may be finished off with just a stain on the inside and packed with other cross stitching goodies, or I may line the inside. The outside TOP of the box WILL have a stitched piece :)
Ok-here we go-my birthday is February 18th. I will draw a name on my birthday (this allows me plenty of time to make some finishing decisions AND allows for me to be with my mom after her surgery to remove the cancer on the 5th of January). I will have this box stitched, finished and packed and ready to send to the name drawn. If you are a regular and would like to have a chance to win the stitchers box-leave a comment on THIS POST ONLY. I will select the name on my birthday. This post will close soon!!

No stitching pics to share as we have been spending much time with our families these past few days. I did pull an ornament to work-hopefully soon :) BUT, I wouldn't change a thing about spending time with those we love :) We are pretty busy for the next week with our families and friends and I couldn't think of a better way to spend time :)

Thank you dear Edgar for the goodies....YUMMY! My family says so too...yes, I shared :)

Just in case I don't get back with a post before Christmas.... Merry Christmas dear friends. I hope it will be a Blessed Christmas for you all.
I can't thank you all enough for the love you have shown to me and my family this year. It has been a year that will not be forgotten and I sincerely hope not repeated. Life has made us much stronger this year and even closer as a family (which I didn't think was possible as we were VERY close prior to the events of 2011) Some of you have gone above and beyond being an online friend and I can't thank you enough for that. We have a strong church family which has been such a blessing to us-but I NEVER forget the blessings that abound from some of you. My heartfelt thanks goes out to you.

hugs and love from SC :)

Becky your beautiful stitching and the faith you have shown through such a hard year have been an inspiration to many of us! God bless, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

I don't really count myself as a regular yet, having only really just started making good of my resolution to start commenting regularly. I wouldn't want you to be posting such a large box all the way to New Zealand either, so please count me out of this one! I'm really looking forward to seeing the stitch and finish though

Blessings,

What a wonderful gift! You are so generous and I, like everyone else, would love to win.

I hope that you and your family are blessed with peace during this season. Life does bring its
own challenges doesn't it? Tell your mom to keep hope alive. Cancer does not mean a death sentence. I probably told you this before, but my friend had a 1% chance of survival for breast cancer and lived another 10+ years. My husband is also 7 years cancer free. Hope you have strength during this trial.

Hugs.

Family time is important, especially this time of year. All the years I was geographically separated from my family, Christmas was the one time each year I'd make a point of getting home. I hope you and your family have a merry and bright holiday time, and health in the new year.

Its been a lot of fun seeing people post about the surprises you've sent out. This new box looks like it will be very special.

Debby said...

Becky,
I've been reading your blog for a while now, but don't post very often. Usually I'm days and days behind on reading and I have so many that there aren't always enough hours in the day.

But I LOVE reading your blog and seeing the marvelous work that you do.

I try to keep you and your family in my prayers as well. I've had my share of rough years and know they are not fun, but God never promised us that life would be easy, just that he'd be with us. And it sounds like you're doing exactly what you should be doing, spending quality time with those you love.

While being entered in your give away would be nice, I will continue to enjoy all the fun and creative things you share with us!
