Bluebird Serenade

This one is just lovely. I am so happy with it-it's just so pretty! I love it when a design just makes you smile :) I stitched it over two (the model is stitched over 1 and inserted in necklace)as I did not want that small a finished item. I am saving this one for the weekend to do the finishing on..but will be sure to share the finish with you :)

Designer: With Thy Needle and Thread
Fabric: 32ct. Natural
Fibers: DMC
Date Started: 1-18-2012
Date Finished: 1-19-2012

This is another offering to one of my regular visitors. Please make sure I have your mailing info if you are a regular and you would like to be considered for a RAK. I have a folder full of addresses where I asked for addresses a couple of years ago to send out RAK's...but many of those people I have never heard of and never seen visit my blog nor ever heard from again-so those names and addresses were removed...if you are a regular and think I may not have your mailing info-please do drop me an email with your information in case you are chosen to receive a RAK. I asked NOTHING in return EXCEPT that you have the courtesy to let me know my gift for you arrived.

Thank you so much friends and readers for stopping by for a visit. For your sweet comments and emails :) They are very much appreciated :) Please do come again!
hugs and love from SC :)

Becky, I love, love, love this design! I stop by your blog everyday (even during your times away from it so I don't run a chance of missing something) and I must say that this is really a winner! The colors are so pretty together! I don't comment much and I am not a blogger myself, but I enjoy stopping by a few and seeing the pretties and being inspired. Your blog always inspires me! Everyone needs a smile brought to their faces. You accomplished it today. How do you decide what to stitch, and more importantly, how do you find the design!

I wanted to say publicly here, that I think it is an awesome use of your talents, the way you share with your readers..love the idea & if I can improve my finishing skills, I would love to be able to do such a thing....

Oh, it's bluebirds! Many years ago, I found a card with an old vintage picture of a little chubby girl with curly hair sitting on a ledge looking at a bluebird. I snatched it up because it looked just like my little girl (who's now a young adult!). It made me smile every time I looked at it, and your piece reminds me of it. Just lovely!!!

Have a blessed day!

Beautiful wee finish, I love the colours, they work so well together.

P.S I would pass on my address but DH and I are moving country twice in the next month and I'd be worried anything got sent would get left behind! I'll try and remember to pass it on when we have a more fixed abode
