I have had SO many email about mom....Mom is improving and getting stronger each day. Please remember she does not have a CAT scan for 4 months...so I am unable to tell you anything more until then-but we just know it's going to come back clear!! For now we are focusing on regaining her strength so she can enjoy the things she is used to. She retired (she owned her own Greenhouses for over 30 years) after her busy season this year and sold her greenhouses and inventory...she is finding herself a bit bored right now-but I really think a lot of it has to do with the weather, her surgery and slow recovery. She is a VERY crafty lady...I am HOPING she will get into some crafting when she feels more like herself. PLUS my dad is retiring at the end of the year...they will be able to do things together. They really enjoy going for trips on their motorcycle-so I am hoping that everything works out and they will be able to go all they want and enjoy each other and the places they visit.
Our visitor (looking as if this will be our future son-in-law) is still here for 3 more weeks. PLEASE note that I am taking a break from emails and visiting blogs while he is here. Also, you do not need to email me about the BAP challenge unless you DO NOT have a blog :) I will keep up with you VIA your blogs. I may not comment-but I will stop by to see your progresses as you share them. Thanks so much!
Thanks for stopping by :) Please do come again!
hugs and love from SC :)

Hi Becky, Glad you are having a nice visit. Your stitchings are all fabulous! Glad to hear your mom is on the mend, I will send good thoughts that all the tests come back good. Thanks for the reminder of the BAP, I am still waiting for mine to arrive in the mail... I think it is lost somewhere between Canada and Connecticut! Hope I can start it soon. Have a lovely day!
Glad to hear that your mum is doing well. Lovely stitching, the RAK is beautifully finished (love that fabric). How are you going to finish Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow? Frame? wall-hanging? It looks so big when you see all of it laid out!
Hi Becky. Great stitching as always. Love the RAK piece. My favorite is AaHRH. It is just gorgeous. I have it in my stash. Someday I hope to stitch it.

Marilyn
Oh Becky, that is just the sweetest RAK stitch and finish! LOVE this one! (Congrats on the potential SIL, btw!) :)
I have wondered about Flower Power on more that one occasion. I remember when you bought the fabric for that one and started on it. I'm so happy that it has found it's way back into your loving needle! I saw FP finished and framed a while back and it was an AMAZING piece! Can't wait to see yours "bloom"! :)
We're going through our own cancer scare with our son at the moment. The stress is off the charts - even for "believers". Here's praying that your mom's cat scan will be clear and that she and your dad will be "burning rubber" happily together soon! :)
Gorgeous; gorgeous; gorgeous!

A nice ride to the upstate would be wonderful come spring.

Congratualations on an upcoming new family member. Enjoy your visit.
Also the AAHRH is just beautiful. I too am waiting to see how you finish it.
Prayers for all.
Flower Power looks great! Day lilies always remind me of summer...and my mom, and grandmom--they were both avid day lily fans, I have several of their plants in my own garden now...
and by the way...we've been enjoying Brie more often now that I've seen your wonderful Brie-box project. I can't wait to copy it to make gifts for my sisters this year!

Congrats on finishing 8 blocks!!! Amazing!! Can't wait to see more! That flower power design is lovely and your mom will treasure it. Great news on your mom. I'm glad she is getting stronger each day. I can understand that she would feel bored after selling her greenhouses, hopefully she will pick up something less strenuous to focus on.
Thanks for letting me know about the BAP progress. I was going to send you a progress pic, but glad I didn't!!
Your RAK turned out adorable. Great job on block 8. The flower piece is very nice. Glad to hear that Mom is doing well and on the road to recovery.
Beautiful, beautiful works...
