Ready to fly....

I stitched and finished up Pinkie last night while watching the Daytona 500-but it was so late when it went off (1am my time) that I did not have a chance to post.
These are just too FUN! I changed this one a bit from the one I stitched for myself (in yesterdays post from 2010), the inside color, and I made the tail so that Polka Dots show on both sides :) I also have added the tail feather pin that I made for this one. TOO, TOO cute!
This one is flying off to a VERY special home tomorrow. I WILL be stitching more of these later on to send out to some of you :)

Designer: Just Nan
Design Size: 3 x 1 3/4
Fabric: 30ct. WDW's Sophie's Pink Linen
Fibers: DMC & WDW
Date Started:2-27-2012
Date Finished: 2-27-2012

I just had to show you my new scissors (you know I have all those new flower frogs I need to fill up-you would think I had enough scissors with all the frogs I have already full-but most of you understand the obsession with embroidery scissors!!! :)). I ADORE Polka Dots. Blue, green and pink polka dots :) Aren't this just TOO cute? They make me smile :)

And the Breast Cancer Awareness Scissors that came with a kit-all packaged in a pink plastic bag. I love the curve going to the blade :)

Thank you MUCHLY for your sweet visits :) I do so appreciate them and I hope you will come back again :)
hugs and love from SC :)

Hi Becky,
I tried to do more stitching on my BAP last night, but kept getting distracted- I, too, was all engrossed in the race that didn't want to end! My favorite almost did it, but not quite (2nd).

I think your little bird is too cute. Really like the pretty pin in her little 'heiney'. Those polka dot scissors are great, and where did you find those polka dot buttons? Those are super.

Hi Becky!

I'm a new visitor to your blog and I am awestruck! I love everything you post but the small projects are so inspiring! I usually do larger projects, but after stumbling onto your site I am now motivated to do lots of smaller projects. I may even try designing my own smalls! (I design many of my own projects--but never small ones! I think I need to change that!). Thank you for including us into your stitching hive!

Brightest blessings, Beth

I just found your blog today, courtesy of Carol at Smile at the Flowers blog. I haven't cross stitched for years because I only have so many walls! But... I love all of your small things projects. These I think I could do and also give lots away. I knit and crochet constantly but have missed my cross stitch too. I'm so glad I've found you and your beautiful blog!

Well, you answered my question about who the birdies were designed by! If I am not lucky this time I might have to investigate and order some...I'm afraid I am most impatient!
