Teeny Tiny :)

This is just about the CUTEST and TINIEST pin pillow I have ever made. It's only about 2x2 (maybe a little less). The design came from a French Cross Stitch book and as we all know that "MON" means MY in English. So this is "My Pin Pillow". I used DMC 115 to stitch 1 over 1 on a scrap over Heatherfield. I trimmed it with a tiny red ricrac. It is stuffed with crushed walnut shells and it is absolutely SO adorable :)
It's going to be hopping off to one of my readers :)

Fabric: Scrap Heatherfield
Fibers: DMC 115
Start Date: 2-29-2012
Finish Date: 2-29-2012

A while back I sent Cath some tins/boxes to use in finishing and this cutie arrived in my mailbox today as a thank you. THANK YOU dear Cath-it's so well made-LOVE it :)
I am trying to find your email (my computer misplaced some files...) to send you a proper thank you :)

Thank you all so much for your kind visits. Please do come again :)
hugs and love from SC,
BeckySC

Oh my, that is one adorable bunny! I LOVE the backing fabric too. The crushed walnut shell filled pin pillows are wonderful...the weight is nice and the shells feel cool when you slip in a pin. That sounds strange doesn't it? lol

Awww such a nice bumblebee for you! Cath is SUCH a sweetie.

What a sweet bee fob you were sent as well. Well deserved.

Oh so sweet! I've never heard of using crushed walnut shells for such a purpose, we have a big walnut tree so, if I can persuade the pesky squirrels to leave me some nuts, might have a go next autumn.
The bee is lovely too.
