I stitched this one today and decided to finish it as an ornament. I stitched it last year and finished it on a box for sweet Brenda for Christmas :) I love how the ornament turned out. I used a finishing fabric that works so well with the design colors. I also used some of my own hand dyed version of chenille trim. I used a dark ribbon for the bow that matches the color of the bird. It made such a lovely ornament :) This one will probably go on the "gift tree"...I have a tree I decorate with extra ornaments that I use as gifts. If I need a gift or know the perfect friend/person that would appreciate a given ornament or if a visitor loves an ornament from the "gift tree" I pull it off the gift tree and send it to them or gift them in person.
